Hotel Azteca Tabasco was founded in Villahermosa from a simple idea: to provide a dignified and reliable place to stay for those visiting the city for work.

Its story began when Ezequiel Peralta Gómez, the hotel’s founder, heard from traveling sales representatives who visited his business about the difficulty they faced in finding suitable accommodations.

Where others saw simply a need, he recognized an opportunity to serve. Thus, the first 12 rooms were built above what was then

Refaccionaria Diésel Mazariego.

Over the years, those first rooms grew into Hotel Azteca Tabasco. While the property evolved, it preserved the principle that inspired its creation: providing warm, reliable service and a genuine commitment to every guest’s comfort and rest.

Today, we continue to welcome travelers, workers, families, and businesses with that same spirit of hospitality, because we believe that a hotel truly begins the day someone places their trust in it, walks through the door, and decides to spend the night there.
